Tawny Grosskreutz: Ya Chuck E. Cheese sure has changed since i was little, and not for the better (fun-wise). But I guess it changed to make it cleaner and safer. There have been stories of people finding dirty diapers and drug needles in the ball pits. There's NOTHING for a little kid to do. I had my oldest's 2nd birthday there and I felt so bad because he couldn't do anything but "talk to Chuck E." on the phone. The one by my house doesn't do shows anymore. They have big screen TV's up and they play the Chuck E. Cheese music videos. But they also have a green screen which puts your child in the video....Show more

Efren Clankscales: Ball pits are OUT. Mo! st places are restricted by health depts. now because they can't be properly sanitized.Some mc donalds had menengitis outbreaks in theirs a few times.I think it depends on the Chuck E Cheese in question, as far as the other stuff goes.Ours is old and 1/2 the rides are broken when we go in there. It would have a lotof stuff for 3-6 IF it worked.I think what you're describing is pretty typical and what you remember is what I remember of the Original Set up when I was a kid....Show more
Hollis Demasters: We do a Chuckee Cheese form of place, it incredibly is a sprint greater geared to older infants, each few months or so, in regards to comparable to you. infants are 8,9,13. they have stable deals, like purchase a pizza and soda (we'd desire dinner besides), and get 40 money in tokens valid for week nights. that is unquestionably very much. We use it for stable report enjoying cards, so definite approximately 4 cases each year.
Olen Penhallurick: At our local chuck! e cheese, the animals and chucky are actually on stage the wh! ole time, dancing and singing, but they are kind of like robots. We don't have real people dressed as the characters. But whenever we go, it seems like kids and parents are more into the games and pizza and stuff than watching the show.Most if not all places have taken out their ball pits. They are unsanitary(food at bottom, feces, and even used syringes)....Show more
Whitley Leopold: We have a mechanical Chuckie that is on stage and pops out from time to time. We have a great toddler zone though! One of our Chuckie Cheeses suck but I found a new one and it rules! 7-8 rides for my 2 year old and the tunnels etc... I think all places are elliminating the ball pit because it's a bacteria breeding ground. I don't see them at all anywhere anymore. Jana Sakasegawa: Yeah, our Chuck E. Cheese is really lame too. Mostly video games that aren't appropriate for little ones. We have! a small climbing tube apparatus but it's worse than McDonalds. There is a stage that shows special effects and plays music but good ol Chuckie comes out once in awhile and bobs around. That's it.When I was a kid, the place was incredible. Lots of animated characters playing music, big party area, lots to do and see and great prizes. Maybe the franchise took a beating. I don't take my kids there anymore....Show more
Joel Feagler: I think they do the shows and "real chuckie" more on the weekends then the week nights. I know most places are getting rid of there ball pits b/c they are so dirty and nasty, you shouldnt let your kids/niece play in a ball pit anyways. They carry all sorts of bacteria and nasty stuff....you always hear the stories of little kids having accidents in teh ball pit and noone finding out....then other kids get in, they are just gross. I would never let my child play in a ball pit in public. My daughter is 2 and loves chuck e cheese. I think 1! is still jsut a little young. If there are 2 in your area, go to the o! ne you like better, thats what I do. I drive farther but I think it is cleaner and better so I make the 10 minute difference....Show more
