What colour make up/accessories?

Ricky Frazer: What are you wearing???

German Thal: Hello I thought i could upload a picture but wasn't able to....here is a link to the dress. Thanks in advance. I am going to a wedding on Friday - i haven't got a bag, or little jacket or accessories! And also don't know what make up to wear! Thank you in advance for any help given! http://www.coast-stores.com/ACAPELLA-DIP-DYE-MAXI/...

Shaquita Wernicki: Smoky eye shadow in a shade that complements your outfit (or your eyes). If your eyes are green or hazel, or brown- purple shades will make your eyes "pop". Shades of brown eyeshadow are sexy, and work with all eye colors. Use a highlighter (ivory is good) to go just under the brow line, and in the corners of your eyes. If you have dark circles, apply some highlighter over your base make up, over the dark circles too. ( It helps to diffuse them a little... )Black mascara is a great way to top these ideas off.Be sure to groom your brows. If your brows ar! e skimpy, use brow pencil or other brow color product to fill them in.If you make a big statement with your eyes, make your lip palette more neutral. Perhaps a nude gloss? Alternatively, choose a lip gloss that is in the same color family as your eye shadow-but on the lighter end of the spectrum. **If you prefer to highlight your lips, there is a great red lipstick out there for every woman on the planet! On how to choose- my instructor put it this way: "When you bite your lip, the color that comes up is usually the right shade." Gross, I know-but she was right. I don't recommend biting your lip, but go nice department store-and someone there will find a great red for you. (Someplace that carries high end cosmetics.) Then you simply take care of your brows, put some eyeliner on your top lid, use the highlighter as stated before, put on your mascara- and your ready to go! If you are young, you probably won't need a blush to make you rosy. Us older gals do well to ap! ply a little blusher to cheeks, nose, and chin;-)I saw your dr! ess. It's lovely. I would go with either brown or greys in eye shadows. As for accessories, you may need to take the dress with you when you buy them. Diamonds (real or fake), and gold or platinum color metal seem best to me. Perhaps a wide bangle. A black pashmina wrap would be nice for your arms/shoulders. I hope you have a great time!!!...Show more
