Bryan Avinger: The expired registration did not contribute to the accident. If they're at fault, it's because the driver's actions were the proximate cause of the collision. Can you sue? Sure. But think long and hard before you do. Suing for such minor injuries may not be worth the months and months that it could drag on. You really need to contact your insurance so they can take care of this for you.
