What are good ways to practice tricks on skateboarding rails?

Rodolfo Merel: practice makes perfect yo. keep tryin

Alexis Reyer: i learn my rail tricks by first go slow and pretty much stalling on the rail(besides board and lipslides), so i know i wont get hurt. it helps because you then know you'll be able to get into the grind, so you take it from there and go a little faster and do the end of the rail. and you just keep doin that until you feel comfortable enough to commit to the whole rail.Hope this helped ya out...Show more

Myron Leftwich: practice! practice! practice! Work on your ollie(or whatever trick you or doing to get on the rail) .Your approach and your finish. just practice!!!

Matt Gerdeman: put the rail in the grass with a little hanging out into the pavement so you can ollie onto it. that should make it easier for you to commit
